Gary P. Simmons grew up in the surf culture of Sydney. In his youth he worked amongst the rough and tumble of dockyards, mining camps and the oil industry.
Eventually, Gary left heavy engineering for a career in film and television as an actor. His interest in the media led him to become a television journalist and presenter.
In the preparation for the Sydney 2000 Olympics, Gary was appointed as the Sport Specific Expert and the Presentation Supervisor and Manager, for the hugely successful and high profile Taekwondo event, where Australia won a gold and silver medal.
As a speaker and corporate trainer, Gary has successfully tendered and facilitated training programs for various companies and Government agencies.
Gary is also the founder and owner of a successful Martial Arts black belt school, Shire Martial Arts which has been operating for over 20 years. His leadership and life skills programs have inspired thousands of young men and women in Sydney, Australia.
